Days 8-9: African Safari Adventure in Maasai Mara before playing NBA Academy Africa and Latin America in Senegal

Updated: Wednesday, 5 April 2023

MEDIA ABSTRACT: You can't come to Kenya and not see the 8th Wonder of the World. Millions of animals migrate from Tanzania to Kenya. Mountain Stars experienced an early morning ride out to the best safari in Kenya, the Maasai Mara National Reserve, and stayed in a large group lodge for a two-day adventure to cap off their Kenya trip.

Maasai Mara is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration.

The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.
